Loved the location, historic feel and value!
It is a wonderful hotel of historical significance. The service is attentive and polite. The place is immaculately clean. The location is perfect. It is fun staying at the Astor. I go there as does my family constantly. Thank you for keeping it going and doing such a good job. Michael Steven Smith New York City
Older, needed metal key, loud, small room, rough towels, felt more like a motel.
I liked the location, the retro design, and the breakfast.
The bed was not comfortable.
We stayed at the Astor because we couldn't find a room anywhere else. We were looking for a luxury city hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked it. It is conveniently located, parking is inexpensive, the staff was helpful and upgraded us to a suite because no king beds were available, the room was very comfortable, loved the bed, and although the bathroom has not been updated it was clean and serviceable. What a great place for the price!
Carpet was stained.
The initial room we were given was small, cold and looked tired. However the staff readily allocated us a studio upgrade for $15/night which was in much better condition and represented excellent value for money.
Room was dusty-moldy, like an attic, I developed wheezing allergy in chest, itching under chin, that took a couple of days to recover from. Room dark & gloomy. No place for two to sit.
We were attending a friend's wedding and all activities, including lodging, were held there.
I was not disappointed in anything.
Old historic hotel. Has character.
Bar and Dining were not open.
Historic architecture, grand lobby, great downtown location
Hallways and some facilities dated and in need of replacement
convienence services car parking helpfulness
room decor standard of bathroom
Very neat and clean. Nice old fashioned feel. And affordable to boot!
Old building so sound transfers from hall to room quite well. Wasn't a big deal at night as I thought it might have been.
The location. Staff was pleasant.
The hotel is in need of un upgrade. Halls and rooms looked as if they could be from a horror movie. Room was very hot and could not control the temperature. When we flushed the toilet, it was as if an airplane was taking off in our bathroom.
