The room I stayed in was super clean and awesome, plus it had a full kitchen - which was a great bonus! 🍳 I also felt safe knowing that there were smoke detectors in place. the location was really cool and had a nice vibe, plus it was just a short walk from Pedestrian Drama. Overall, a great place to stay!

Great location near a park by Lake Michigan, perfect for a stroll. Also, free parking was a nice perk.
The hotel itself was quite rundown, with peeling wallpaper, cracked paint, and worn rugs. The staff at the front desk was friendly but not very knowledgeable, as they directed us to restaurants that were closed.

Spacious suite with comfortable beds and conjoining rooms for added privacy. Great vintage building with a beautiful lobby. Convenient location near Lake Michigan and downtown. Clean room with a nice view. Reasonable parking fee and plenty of parking available. Efficient window AC kept us cool despite hot weather. No leaks or noises during a storm. Friendly staff. Loved the old world charm and being able to use the hotel library. a delightful stay with lovely architecture and a fascinating history.

Attending the Bruce Springsteen show at the Bradley Center, we were pleased with the convenient location of this hotel. It was easy to walk to and from the event. The rooms were clean and had character, as it is an older building. The price was fair. Additionally, the hotel had a unique charm that made us feel like we had stepped back in time. We were also delighted to find a grocery store nearby for coffee and snacks, as well as Bucca Italian restaurant around the corner, which was perfect for a group of people.
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful time exploring the vibrant neighborhood where the hotel is located. It's close to Lake Michigan, which was perfect for our family with two small kids. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the beautiful lake. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, providing a cozy space for us to relax after a long day. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The convenient parking made it easy for us to come and go as we pleased, without any hassle.
The dim lighting in the lobby and hallways gave it a spooky look and feel, which made navigating the hotel a bit challenging at times.
